Fresh local ingredients are the foundation of traditional cuisine with multicultural and avant-garde touches. This is the formula of Bar Plaza, the restaurant on the ground floor of Mercer Plaza Sevilla.

At Bar Plaza proximity ingredients -such as Iberian ham, regional cheeses, shrimp from Huelva, tomatoes from Los Palacios, oxtail and Iberian beef, among other- are especially selected. In addition to traditional Spanish comfort food as salads, croquettes and fried eggs, Bar Plaza offers innovative proposals that combine classic elements with exotic touches, resulting in original dishes of contrasts and flavors, such as bluefin tuna tartar with galangal and coconut 'ajoblanco', baby cuttlefish with red shrimp cream and lime and ginger aioli, or 35-day aged Galician beef filet with pear sauce. Finally, creative desserts as sweet and sour or chocolate cloud top off the meal for absolute diners' enjoyment.

Bar Plaza is a bright and airy space -presided over by the art of expressionist artist Agustí Puig- where you can enjoy a pleasant lunch or dinner in a discreet and relaxed atmosphere.
